Lets talk prestige domination since it is being planed as a larger part of the game, items and hopefully CP on the PVE end.
Anyway Prime was bragging that he had made 1k to 1.7k an hour farming the Thrax supervisors (If I'm wrong correct me) in the Bane Mines area of Mires (27-30) well I new of a place I had passed through a few times were I had to kill lots of Prestige carriers. So quick hope on MS to find a Epic Hazmat piece (that was cheep and I wouldn't worry about loosing a head out.
About and hour later my lvl 33 Commando has netted 3.2k! pushing the bar well past what Mr. Prime had found in Prestige!
This little "sweet spot" is right in front of the Energy Weapon Center in Mires. Right in front of it are groups of Thrax Sharpshooters (28-30) in groups of 2-5 as well as the area's Lightbender Boss (33)!
Now we just need to find the "Sweet spots" of the other area's and rack up all the Prestige we want!
Happy hunting everyone! -Howlett

I agree that is a good spot, but the problem with it is in another level or so you have to look for another spot. That's something I was thinking about and I have a solution to the problem. In WoW it's called a twink, and it's something I was playing with a few days ago on the test server. Basically its a 29 commando in 29 motor assist with 28 chain guns. By not going to the class trainer to choose a tier 4 class you're level capped at 29 and can farm the area indefinitely. The sharpshooters and even the named mini bosses are a piece of cake in blue quality gear with machinegun 5, reflec armor 5 and rage 3. I just wish I though of it before I sent my 29 commando clone to the trainer.
Edit: My choice of armor was based on the fact that the only 25 grav I could get my hands on was the vendor white. I did test it with pump 5 in the skill, but the blue quality reflec was way superior plus the added dps from reflection was a huge boost in making faster kills.

Hmmm interesting Idea although if your going to use a commando might as well go for the launchers instead of the chainguns (all targets). If you did do the chaingun build go for Rushing Blow for fast Group hoping. Chain Build - Rage Pump(P)3, Reflective P5, Rushing Blow P5 , and Chainguns P5 then with the few points left Force Blast or Scourage P3. Launcher Build - Rage P5, Launchers P5, Reflective P5, Chaingun P3 (just in case) and Force Blast P3. May seem slower then the chain build but you would be hitting them all at once! It could work with a ranger as well full reflect, chain, FS3, and the chaingunner spotter as well as rage 3. Rage 5 would be ideal as its shared with "pets" but does not look posible with the others (3 points left) to max damage. or instead of pet just go for Napalm Specs are always fun to play around with almost as much as the game itself!

I'll have to try those builds. I like the ranger build since I have one on the live server, I haven't leveled him past 15 yet but that's sort of what I had planned already.
I agree experimenting with builds is fun, it's the only reason I go to the test server. It'll be even better if they make the test server a persistent population like the live servers i.e. they don't wipe it with each deployment. It would make it easier to get gear from the MS at levels other than 30, 40 and 50.
Edit: I still don't like launchers. I've more of run and gun play style more suited to machineguns. On live I'll be using my ranger in reflec with machineguns.

Great input from all here. Thanks a bunch. For those in the mid 40 level, wanting to do an exp grind AND gain some nice prestige, the spot is in front of Thunderhead Base. Stand by the mechs and wait for the waves of bane to arrive. This is especially effective if you have a nice area of effect attack skill/weapon. In my opinion, Fire Support 3 is one of, if not the best AOE attack to have. If you have a skill of that sort, you can stay there from mid 40s until 50. I know, I did with my spy.
Thanks again for the great inputs. That is what this forum is all about (helping!), and that is what this clan is ALL about, helping each other.

I enjoy my exo's build (Considering switching bio to MA), L5, T5, C4, I5, BBA5, CI5, C5, RA3... I think I have leech at 2... My primary injector is a proto 50 electric with 20% debuff to elec, so when my clone and I use it together we get a stacked 40% debuff. Combine that with free lightning 5s from the clone and lightning 5s from myself, it makes quite a devastating combo. Cure 4 (protect) makes you pretty much invincible to striders, so it is pretty easy to farm them. I also have a 47 proto fire injector with 20% debuff to fire and elec, so I get the 40% debuff to fire and elec when my clone and I use them... couple that with cadavar and you have some crispy critters! I really like CI for attacking Aurora CP in thunderhead, from the east side. I can kill whoever is out front, then attack the force field. When I see them coming, I just light up a few bodies, hide behind the little walls, and watch the fireworks.

You really ought to consider the obvious supremacy of Everlasting Gobstopper's.
Just saying.

Since this is something we were discussing in game yesterday I though I would post my recent prestige gathering results. This is a screen shot I took today after filling 1 xp bar with killing the bane officer that spawns just north of Trinity Bridge on Valverde Plateau. I made 1124 and just a bit more than 1/10th of a level. My prestige so far is 10264, having started at 30 with a fresh clone. I wasn't wagering anythin until almost halfway through 30 and it was a trash blue that I replaced with a trash purple I got cheaply at MS somewhere around 30.7 or so. At around 31.5 or so I stpooed and ran around doing missions for a bit so 3 0r 4 bars of xp were from missions. Anyway here's the pic. img236.imageshack.us/my.php?image=00000001pa9.jpgWhen I go back out I'm thinking of looking for a different officer to camp and I'd hesitate to share this out of clan. It's not really any big secret, I just don't want them to do what they did to the sharpshooters who used to be good for prestige. Edit: I'm really liking the spy for this, maybe I should try this with my 50 Guard. In addition to the prestige, I'm also racking in the cred like mad. I think he's made about 2.5 mil so far from the cash reward from killing plus vendoring the the trash collected. Zero ammo consumption for the the win!
